- Hi there!
- strange Problem i have with Thor:
- In the global config, i set maximum messages to keep = 1000,
- maximum days is 30.
- Although i have some newsgroups with more than 3000 messages in them,
- Thor won't delete the first 2000+.
- I enter the conference, then i choose Pack/Purge from the menu.
- In the requeste i choose 'this conf'. The the progress bar shows
- up, the HD LED flashes for a while, but then i must realise that no
- message was deleted.
- These messages are unread, but this shouldn't be a problem?!
- Or do i have to mark them all as read?
-
- Question #2:
- Everytime i enter a message that is adressed to me personally, the screen
- flashes. How can i deactivate this, since it is very annoying? After all,
- i know that all these messages are adressed to me, since i am in my
- email conference.
- Also, i don't want the mails i wrote to show up in my email conference.
- It would be best if they would be stored in a separate coference, i.e.
- 'sent'. Is this possible?
-
- Question #3:
- Is there an option to delete an entire thread of messages?
-
- Question #4:
- When reading a UU- or mime-encoded mail, Thor shows an icon, on which
- you can click to see the objet (image etc). When i select 'inline' from
- the requester, thor displays it properly, but if i choose multiview,
- thor just does nothing. Multiview is properly installed on my system,
- it's in the search path, i also have all kinds of datatypes installed.
-
- hmm... quite a lot of questions :)
- anybody know any answer?
-
- thanx,
-
